YOU KNOW WHAT'S IN YOUR FOOD, BUT DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S IN YOUR GLASS?

Winemakers are required to disclose very little. By law, they don't have to share how the grapes are grown or list the 70+ additives that can change the taste, color, and mouthfeel of your wine. DIRT Wine is the new clean. Lab-tested and free of over 500 chemical residues, including glyphosate, this wine ensures purity from the soil to your glass. Prioritizing your health and the environment’s wellbeing, it’s a choice you can feel good about.

DISRUPTING THE STATUS QUO

01.

Our wine is lab-tested for over 500 chemical residues, including glyphosate, ensuring purity from the soil to your glass. We prioritize your health and the environment's wellbeing.

02.

Made with only grapes and minimal sulfur, our wine is hand-harvested from organic, regeneratively grown vineyards. Naturally fermented with native yeast, we use minimal sulfur before bottling to protect the wine from oxidation.

03.

By relying solely on natural precipitation and not using irrigation, we conserve valuable water resources. This method encourages deeply rooted vines, producing high-quality grapes and a true expression of terroir.

04.

Verified by the Savory Institute Global Land to Market, our vineyards demonstrate regeneration and land improvement. We maintain living roots and covered soil year-round with diverse, pollinator-friendly cover crops, integrate animals, and practice no-till farming without harmful chemicals. We continuously monitor ecosystem functions, biodiversity, soil health, and water cycles to ensure a holistic approach to land management so each bottle of DIRT Wine directly impacts regenerative transformation.

05.

Our single-vineyard wine ensures complete traceability from the vineyard soil to your glass, so you know exactly where your wine comes from and how it was grown.

06.

Our lightweight glass bottles and biodegradable natural corks are produced in the USA to ensure a minimal carbon footprint. Please recycle the bottle and compost the cork for optimal environmental circularity.

07.

We are committed to supporting resilient family farms and communities, therefore; our grapes are sourced exclusively from family-owned vineyards. Dedicated to expanding regenerative agriculture, 1% of DIRT wine sales goes to Zero Foodprint’s Initiative to Restore California, helping fund farmers to adopt regenerative agricultural practices that build healthy soils, climate resilience, and thriving farms.

More than just grapes in a bottle.

Where the romance of wine meets science. Our collaborations with labs, verifiers, and winemakers ensure purity and transparency.

MEET THE FOUNDERS

We’re Nicole and Michael, and we believe wine can do more than delight the senses—it can heal the planet.

When we first discovered regenerative agriculture, we were captivated by its power to rebuild healthy soil, restore ecosystems, and nurture biodiversity—all while serving as a profound climate solution. But we couldn’t ignore the questions that followed: Why isn’t everyone farming this way? Why do so many wines come with hidden additives and chemical residues? The deeper we dug, the clearer it became: the wine industry needed a revolution, and we were ready to lead the charge.

FAQS

01.

DIRT Wine is more than just wine—it’s a movement to disrupt the status quo and demand better. We believe in a future where wine isn’t just made, but made with integrity—where transparency, quality, and impact matter just as much as taste.

We craft lab-tested, transparently made wines that are free from additives (except minimal sulfites) and tested for over 500+ chemical residues, including glyphosate. Sourced from Nature Positive, organically grown, dry-farmed grapes, our wines restore soil health, support biodiversity, and strengthen the farms and communities that make them possible.

Every bottle tells a deeper story—one of land stewardship, ethical labor, and the power of wine to spark conversation and change. With DIRT, you’re not just drinking pure wine—you’re part of a movement that demands more. More transparency. More integrity. More impact—for you, for farmers, and for the future of wine.

02.

Nature-positive is an outcome-based approach to farming that focuses on measurable improvements to the land rather than specific farming practices. Instead of tracking processes, we assess key indicators like soil health, biodiversity, and water infiltration on an annual basis. This data-driven approach allows us to back up our land improvement claims and make decisions based on real results—not assumptions. By working in harmony with nature, we cultivate high-quality, expressive fruit while restoring the ecosystems that make great wine possible. It’s farming that gives back more than it takes—ensuring that every bottle reflects the vitality of the land.

03.

Conventional wine can contain up to 70 legal additives, including Mega Purple, a grape juice concentrate used to correct and enhance the color of pale red wines, Isinglass, derived from dried fish swim bladders, used as a fining agent to clarify wine or Dimethyl Dicarbonate (DMDC), a highly toxic and corrosive food additive used as a preservative and cold sterilization agent. Unlike food labels, wine bottles aren’t required to disclose these additives—leaving consumers in the dark. At DIRT Wine, we believe in full transparency, crafting wines that are lab-tested and free from unnecessary manipulation, using only minimal sulfites to ensure quality and to prevent oxidation.

04.

At DIRT Wine, our ingredients are simple and transparent:hand-harvested, chemical-free, Nature-Positive grown grapes, native yeast, and minimal sulfites to preserve quality and stability. We never add artificial colorants, flavor enhancers, or unnecessary chemicals. Every vintage is lab-tested for over 500+ chemical residues, ensuring a pure, high-quality wine that reflects the vitality of the land it comes from.

Orders ship within 24-48 hours, and an adult (21+) signature is required. UPS will make three delivery attempts before returning the package. Extreme weather can damage wine, so we recommend expedited shipping for hot or cold climates. We can’t be responsible for bottles left outside or missed deliveries—but if something goes wrong on our end, we’ll make it right. We just ask for a little patience—shipping wine isn’t easy!

08.

At DIRT Wine, we work with AGQ Lab to analyze our wines for chemical residues, including glyphosate. For more details about AGQ Labs and their testing process, visit their website here and here.

We also conduct a nutrition test that tells us the carbohydrates (including sugar), protein, fat, and % alcohol in all of our wines. See this link for more information about our nutrition testing.

09.

Traditional wine bottles can be heavy, with standard bottles weighing around 500g and sparkling wine bottles reaching up to 800g. These heavy bottles contribute significantly to a winery’s carbon footprint, primarily due to transportation. At DIRT Wine, we’ve chosen to use locally sourced, lightweight bottles weighing just 398g. This decision reduces our carbon footprint by shortening supply chains and minimizing the energy required for transportation. By using these sustainable bottles, we’re able to reduce waste and lower emissions—one bottle at a time.
